weddings (and other special events)
As a Columbus, Ohio-based photographer, my goal for each and every session is to capture you and the ones you love connecting, simply and naturally. A wedding day is no exception. If you are dreading the idea of hiring a traditional photographer who will take up a lot of your day with formal wedding party photos and staged shots, we may be a great fit. I will essentially become a guest at your wedding, sneaking in to capture the real stories: The funny, the lovely, and the tear-inducing.
Some things to consider:
- Are you comfortable in your own skin, naturally surrounding yourself with people who love and appreciate you as you are?
- Do you truly enjoy being in the company of your partner?
- Is it important that you are able to be fully present on your wedding day so you can genuinely enjoy all of the people in attendance, as well as the details you carefully planned?
- Do you want your day to be filled with simple, thoughtful things that showcase you and your partner’s personalities and preferences?
- Are you excited about the whole photography process, from finding a photographer who shares your vision to holding finished products in your hands, heirlooms that will allow you to relive the emotions of your day again and again with each other (and possibly children or grandchildren)?
- Does your ideal Friday night bounce between a): Staying in with a glass of wine or cup of tea and binge watching your current Netflix series, and b): A night out and about, letting loose with your closest friends, potentially ending at your place with a full-blown dance party?
